Unique Experiences in Arlington, Texas

Arlington is a city that offers a lot of interesting and unique experiences, both for its residents and for the people from near and far who come to visit. Nuzzled between Dallas and Fort Worth, Arlington is known as the Entertainment Capital of Texas for a reason.

Make an occasion! Check out these unique Arlington experiences!

As proud Arlington residents, we at Dr. Marchbanks’ office have composed a list of some old favorites and new finds in and around Arlington.

If you have any other recommendations, be sure to let us know so we can add to the list!

 1. Texas Coffee School

If you’re thinking about opening your own coffee place, or just want to learn how to make coffee like a pro, enroll in one of the Texas Coffee School programs.

The word has it that this school taught more than 200 coffee companies how to make proper Joe since it was open in 2008. They have a 3-day program for individuals eager to learn the mastery of coffee-making. Their class is held in a single room filled with all the equipment necessary to become one of the best coffee baristas in the city!

Registration is limited since they have small class sizes, so plan beforehand if you want to apply.

 2. Eskimo Hut Arlington

This unique store can be the ultimate experience for anyone wanting to spice their pre-party shopping up a bit. And what a better way to do it than to try some handcrafted daiquiris and margaritas togo

Yes, you read that right, this store offers three sizes along with gallon bags, around 15 different flavors of Jello shots, and rum-soaked gummy bears. You can imbibe and eat some tasty treats at the same time for whatever occasion you bought the goodies for.

There are “normal” drinks there as well, including vodkas, whiskey, rum, tequilas and more. And if you just prefer a good beer, you can find that too at the store in bottles, cans, cups and draft beer to-go.

 3. Arlington Entertainment District

If you’re looking to have some extra fun, missing the Arlington Entertainment District would be a huge mistake.

Don’t miss Six Flags Over Texas where you can find over 40 thrilling rides, kids rides, plenty of food and drinks. When was the last time you read up on their newest attractions? What else could you possibly need to have an awesome time?

If you prefer water entertainment, Arlington offers something for that as well, and it’s called Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

If you enjoy football visit AT&T Stadium, for baseball lovers Globe Life Park is the place to be, and if you just want to enjoy the nature head to River Legacy Parks.

And all these sights are in the same central part of Arlington!

 4. Triple T Stables

If you want something more connected to nature along with a bit of an adventure, you can visit the Triple T Stables where you can try out or even master horse riding. This is our locally-famous boarding facility in Western style that offers riding lessons for every willing child or adult.

Children from 6 and up can also take private lessons at $40 per hour. At the venue, they also host rip-roaring barnyard and pony parties for kids.

Other awesome special events also take place there on a regular basis, just click above to see the website.

 5. The Upstairs Gallery

If you’re more interested in an artistic experience, The Upstairs Gallery is a great Arlington option for you. Founded in 1967, the gallery features a wide variety of arts including pottery, jewelry, oils, watercolors, mixed media creations and more. It’s captivating, and the gallery gives local artists special opportunities to show off their talents and display their works.

These are just some of the unique experiences that you can find in Arlington—the city truly has something to offer to everybody. If you choose to participate in any of the suggested experiences, be sure to take photos and share them with us at the office!
